New form for updates

I just got a new toy so, I may be able to update more often. We had Addison’s birthday party on Tuesday hard to believe she is already 1. I am looking forward to seeing all the family over the next couple weeks. I will try to get some photos to look at soon.

New Old News

Hello everyone,

It has been a very long time so, I will try to update and go from there.

The ski trip with Dixon and Weston was fun except for the run in with the bunny lift.  For those of you who got to see the real thing the picture did not do it justice. 

Addison is running around the house and very seldom crawls anymore.  She is having fun wobbling around and chasing the brothers.

Weston just got through tryouts for the BR Cubs baseball team.  He made the team and there was a very good bunch of kids that tried out.  The website is HTTP://brcubs.blogspot.com you can check out the team and track their progress.  He is also finishing another successful wrestling season.  He took 3rd in a 3rd and forth grade bracket in coalville a couple weeks ago.

Tyson is also having fun wrestling and being the ball boy for Dixon’s comp soccer team.

Dixon has begun comp soccer and is getting a science fair project put together.  He is going to do it on spinal implants.  We went to his middle school orientation.  Talk about making me feel old.

Dixie and I continue to chase kids and not update our blog.  Our ward did finish 2nd in region in church ball we lost by 1 on a last second shot.  The new job is keeping me busy but, I enjoy going to work so that is a plus.

Year end Review 2008

Well we have been wrestling and getting things taken care of for the holiday season.  We took a trip tp Provo to let Weston and Tyson wrestle.  Weston ran into two kids that were really good and lost two tough battles.  Tyson did really well he had a group of 8 kids and he lost one match to the champion and ended up taking first place.

Christmas was exciting I had to pull Mom out of the snow drift on her road.  However I can’t take all the credit We had two trucks in tandom to pull her out.  Then my windshield wiper moter went out and we had to run it manually the rest of the day.  We decided that it was to dangerous to drive home so we spent the night at Mom’s house. 

Basketball has no begun for Dixon and Weston and I somehow got roped into coaching both teams.

I also accepted a job at a new company called Medicine Lodge and will be a customer focus engineer.  Man it is great to have a degree and have someone wanting you during negotiations.  Dixie will also be moving  jobs to the new hospital if everthing goes as planned. 

Tyson is having a blast with his cowboy stuff he got for christmas.  His uncle made him a metal roping steer he named chopper that he loves to play with.  He also continues to watch the same bull riding show over and over.

Halloween pictures

Dixon made a very cute girl. People were asking if his friends were girls or boys. It was a good thing I got him green hair. Weston had fun as a ghost. Ty wouldn’t leave all of his costume on but he had fun. Addi was just cute.

Dixon has now started indoor soccer and loved it. Wes and Ty are having fun at wrestling. Addi got another tooth and can crawl backwards.

The Turkey Trot was yesterday and all three of the boys ran in it. They all did the 1 mile. Dixon came in second and won a pie. Weston placed 8th. Tyson came in 14th, he ran the whole thing. Mark ran along side of him to make sure he went the right way. I was so proud of him because I don’t think I could do it and definately not under 10min like he did.

Addi and Halloween

Addi got her first tooth this week. We also found out that she does not like bananas or peaches, not even if they are mixed in with cereal. She will soon be crawling.

The kids are all excited to go trick or treating. Tyson is going as a knight. Weston is going to be a ghost. Dixon and three of his friends are going as girls. Addi is going as a pumkin. I will try to get pictures posted as soon as i can.

I am now helping Mark keep this up hopefully we can do better.

Dixon’s football team made it to the first week of playoffs. They had a game half way through the week to see if they went into the playoffs in 1st or 2nd place. They were the first place team and then lost the first game to Morgan at home. He is now in between sports and just enjoying 5th grade.

Weston has now started wrestling. He has not had any meets yet but we are excited for this year.  He is doing very well in school. His teacher thinks he is just the best kid she has ever met. She has not seen the Hirschi temper.

Tyson is also wrestling this year. It will be his first year. We will see how well he likes it. He also has a youth rodeo coming up on the 1st of November. He asks us almost every day when the rodeo is.

Addison is now rolling all over and has started eating foods.  

Mark and I are just working and having fun chasing the kids around.

Still no photos

Well Weston and Dixon are in football and we are running 5 nights a week with that.  Dixon has his lamb about ready for the fair.  I think it may be the most tame lamb the Hirschi clan has ever had. 

Dixie went in for her operation on Wednesday and everthing went fine she is taking it easy and recovering just fine.

Addison has now figured out how to roll over from her back to stomach.  It won’t be long and she will be cruising all over.

Late Updates Finally

I am here alone with the kids today while Dixie is at work so while Addie takes a nap I thought I would give a quick update.  Since it has bee 2 full months since my last post. 

Weston has finished his coach pitch baseball and he learned alot.  He has been invited to the allstar game on Saturday the 26th at 11:30 if we decide to come back from the reunion which we probably will.  Football starts on July 28th and Weston can’t wait.  Weston also played in the Skyway junior golf tournament and shot an 84 that was good for 5th place. 

Tyson had a Birthday party we have pictures I will try to get posted he is a big 4 years old now.  We are trying to break the sippy cup of milk habit now that he is a big boy. 

Dixon is continues to make a playoff run with his baseball team he is playing really well.  We expect to be playing for the championship on Wednesday July 23rd.  He got to pitch the last ining of his last playoff game.  His Dad was very very very nervous his Grandpa Kevin was very nervous and Dixon was nervous.  The score was 7 to 2 and we were ahead.  He walked the first two batters and they tried to steal and one scored and the other got thrown out on third.  He walked one more batter and then settled in two strike out the last two batters to secure the win.  He is also anxious to begin Football. Dixon played in a golf tournament in Salt Lake and took second by 1 stroke he shot 36 which for a par 3 course was bogie golf.  The skyway tournament he shot 54 and took 3rd.

Addison is growing like a weed and is starting to be more of a handfull.  She is no longer content with staying in the same place she now scoots all over the room.  I will need to add more photos.

Family vacation – We had a lot of fun we went to the Uintas and hiked to Timpanogous cave went fishing and enjoyed being in the mountains.  Grandma and Grandpa came up to spend the day and they rode in the back of the truck in lawn chairs with the kids they thought that was a blast.  I wish I could have gotten pictures (I forgot).  The fishing was not ver good but we had fun anyway.

The housing hunt was complete we had an offer accepted however they had an addendum to keep showing it until we sold our house.   The got a new offer and we had 72 hours to react.  We ran all the numbers and ended up with needing to make a $1680 dollar house payment and rent our out.  We made the correct decision and let it go. So the search continues.

Addision is now awake and screaming I will try to get photos up later.
